Which 2017 Dodge Journey Trim is Right for You?

The SE

The base level SE comes with 17-inch steel wheels and roof rails. Other standard features include keyless entry, cruise control, and dual-zone manual climate control. There is a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, and the sound system has six speakers and both a USB port and an auxiliary jack. You can opt for the Flexible Seating Package, which adds a third-row seat with a 50/50 split to make it easy to adjust the amount of cargo and seating space.

The SXT

If you upgrade to the SXT, you’ll get alloy wheels and fog lights along with a unique front fascia. The Flexible Seating Package comes standard in the SXT, and you’ll also get body-colored exterior mirrors and LED taillights.

The Crossroad

Choose the Crossroad trim for 19-inch wheels and a stylish gloss black and chrome exterior trim. Inside, you’ll get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather-wrapped shift knob along with an automatic dimming rearview mirror. The Crossroad also comes with additional technology. You’ll get Bluetooth for hands-free driving, and it comes with satellite radio.

The Crossroad Plus

Get more creature comforts with the Crossroad Plus, boasting tri-zone automatic climate control. It also adds LED interior lighting and leather seats. In this trim, the front passenger seat folds flat and includes a hidden storage bin, offering extra space to haul gear. There is also a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen and a DVD player in the dash with an SD card slot. The driver’s seat in the Crossroad Plus has a six-way power adjustment feature to help make the driver more comfortable.

The GT

The new top-of-the-line GT trim gets you unique 19-inch wheels and a body color grille. It comes with remote engine start for those who want a nice warm or cool car by the time they get in, and is equipped with sport-tuned suspension for a sportier drive. The GT comes standard with the V6 engine and automatic headlights. Inside the GT you’ll find a more stylish look with perforated leather seats with red stitching. It also has a heated steering wheel and heated front seats along with an upgraded audio system with an 115- volt power outlet.

All of the trims except for the GT come with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, but you can upgrade to the larger V6 that comes standard on the GT. Buyers can choose from front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and they both come with an automatic transmission. You can also add a rearview camera and rear parking sensors to any of the trims.
