The Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 with eTorque is standard with 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft of torque rated for up to 25 MPG highway. The eTorque system adds another 90 lb.-ft of torque to the V6. For more pulling power, check out the available 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which generates 395 horsepower with 410 lb.-ft of torque, with another 130 lb.-ft of torque from the eTorque system.  All Ram 1500 engines are matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission in two- or four-wheel drive.
