3 Ways Chrysler Beats the Competition

Better Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is an important consideration, not only to save money at the pump but also to reduce your carbon footprint. That’s why Chrysler vehicles are worth consideration; they have better fuel economy compared to the competition.

The 2016 Chrysler 300 has the Best-in-Class V6 fuel economy, as it provides 31 mpg on the highway. This is better than the Nissan Maxima (30 mpg), the Buick Lacrosse (28 mpg), and the Chevrolet Impala (28 mpg). Providing 28 mpg combined, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has better fuel economy than other models in the premium minivan segment; the Toyota Sienna gives 27 mpg combined, and the Kia Sedona gives 25 mpg combined.

Like the rest of the family, the 2016 Chrysler 200 also beats out the competition. It provides 36 mpg on the highway, while the Ford Fusion only gives out 34 mpg on the highway.

Superior Engine and Chassis

The 2016 Chrysler 200 has the most technically advanced available all-wheel drive (AWD) in its class, beating the Ford Fusion. The rest of the competition does not even compare: Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Chevrolet Malibu don’t have an AWD option. This feature is essential if you frequently have to manage slippery roads in your region.

If you want a vehicle that fits up to eight people and still manages to stay environmentally friendly, then the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is worth considering. It is the only minivan in its class that has a hybrid engine. When using only electrical power, you can go for 30 miles on a full charge.

Chrysler vehicles are also powerful. The 2016 Chrysler 300 generates 363 horsepower, which is substantially greater than the Buick Lacrosse (304 horsepower), the Chevrolet Impala (305 horsepower) and the Toyota Avalon (268 horsepower). As for the 2016 Chrysler 200, it generates 295 hp, which is the best horsepower in the standard midsize sedan segment.

Innovative Interior Features

The newest Chrysler models have interior features that you won’t find in competitors’ models. The Chrysler Pacifica is the most innovative minivan in its class because of the second row Stow ‘n Go Seating and Storage System. Seating up to eight passengers, it’s great for carpooling or family road trips. For extra storage space, the second row can be easily folded into the floor.

If you’re looking for something indulgent, take a look at the 2016 Chrysler 300C Platinum; it’s the most luxurious vehicle in the upper large car segment. It comes standard with leather seating, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium sound system, heated front seats, and heated second-row seats. It also has the largest touchscreen in its class. The 8.4-inch touchscreen is larger than Toyota Avalon’s 7-inch touchscreen.

If you’re looking for something luxurious, powerful, or just plain good for the environment, Chrysler has it all. See it for yourself and visit your nearest car dealership to take one out for a test drive.
