Ninja Escape

Ninja Escape has two locations in Seattle, one in Fremont and one in Belltown. Both offer different options including a ninja versus zombies room, a machine room, a pirate room, a computer hacking room, and deadly poison room. Anyone can participate in these daily events from Thursday to Sunday by booking online in advance. They start every half an hour between 4:30 and 9 p.m.

Ninja Escape also runs private events where large groups can work together to solve different problems. Teams at Ninja Escape have experience in corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and even proposals. The level of difficulty is adjusted based on the experience of the groups.

The Raven and the Red Death

This escape room is pretty difficult and is designed for those experienced in problem-solving and looking for a more challenging experience. It is inspired by the stories of Edgar Alan Poe. Players start in the center of a mansion in The Masque of the Red Death. They are given 60 minutes to navigate through the different rooms in the mansion and map out an escape. Players need to figure out a way to get out before the Red Death escapes. If you encounter the Red Death at any point, it will result in immediate death.

Players can take part in the Raven and the Red Death every day of the week except Mondays. The first game starts at 10:45 a.m., and there is another one every two hours until the last which begins at 10:45 p.m.

Hourglass Escapes

Hourglass Escapes run two different escape rooms throughout the week, the Egyptian themed Rise of the Mad Pharaoh and Tales of the Ghostly Galleon. Both are difficult enough to stump you, but easy enough to be played by children ages 12 and up. They each give players 60 minutes to find their way out of the room and solve the mystery. The rooms are open every day of the week with varying times starting at 9 a.m. and some going as late as 9 p.m.

Seattle Escape Games

For those looking for a prison themed escape room, look no further than Seattle Escape Games Cell Block 12. You and your friends will find yourselves locked in a prison and you have to find a way to break out. It is highly recommended for beginners, and like many other escape rooms, it gives you only one hour to find your way out.

Seattle Escape Games are open every day and offer players the opportunity to escape Cell Block 12 eight times a day from 12 until 10:30 p.m.

Whether you’ve never done an escape room before or you’re a seasoned pro, there are tons of great escape rooms around Seattle to enjoy throughout the week.
