John Cena’s 1989 Jeep Wrangler
John Cena’s First Vehicle: 1989 Jeep Wrangler
John Cena is one of the most iconic wrestlers in the WWE, and has been making a name for himself in the movie industry over the years starring in films such as “The Marine” and the upcoming movie “Blockers”. The pro-wrestler/movie star has always had a passion for cars and has accumulated an impressive collection for his personal garage. There is one vehicle, however, that he cites as being the one vehicle that has brought him the most joy over the years, and that is his 1989 Jeep Wrangler.
The 1989 Jeep Wrangler is the first vehicle John Cena ever purchased with his own money. After signing a contract with the WWE in 2001, a contract that he equates to peanuts, he went out and bought his first vehicle, a 1989 Jeep Wrangler with 80,000 miles on it. Over the years he has done several modifications and customizations to the vehicle.
John Cena highlights the video in his web series “John Cena:Auto Geek”. You can see him in the video test driving some of the worst most exotic vehicles, but he still says the 1989 Jeep Wrangler is the one vehicle he will never get rid of. “I signed a contract for myself way, way back when for peanuts. But, I felt like I needed to showcase my accomplishment, and I did with this baby right here.”
