Rairdon’s of Kirkland Trunk or Treat Event
Oct 31 2-6 PM

Visit Rairdon’s Dodge of Kirkland this Halloween for a safer alternative to door-to-door trick or treating.

Our big trunk or treat event is Thursday, October 31st from 2-6 pm. Whether ghost or goblin, witch or Wonderwoman, everyone is welcome to attend! Enjoy trick or treating in a controlled environment that eliminates the stress for you while rewarding your little ones. Avoid busy streets!

Come to Rairdon’s of Kirkland to collect your sweet treats instead.

In the meantime, here are 10 other ways to stay safe this Halloween.

  • 1. Make sure kids trick or treat with a trusted adult in a safe, well-lit neighborhood.
  • 2. Stick to familiar surroundings and be aware.
  • 3. Wear reflective clothing. This keeps kids seen and safe. Reflective tape can also be placed on trick or treat bags for added visibility.
  • 4. Make ID cards for your kids. Have a pocket ID card for your little one(s) in the unlikely event that you get split up. By listing information like their address and emergency contacts, it helps avoid additional confusion.
  • 5. Establish a curfew. By establishing a curfew for the kids in your household who are old enough to trick or treat on their own, you keep them accountable. Let them know that they’re free to go out on their own to have fun, so long as they’re back home by a certain specified time.
  • 6. Stay cool with water. It can get hot under those costumes and masks!
  • 7. Inspect candy before allowing kids to eat. Only keep candy that’s still sealed.
  • 8. Keep your home locked up while you’re out and about celebrating.
  • 9. Make sure to pack flashlights and/ or glow sticks for even more visibility.
  • 10. Discourage talking or texting while out trick or treating to limit potentially hazardous distractions.
