2025 Ram 1500 REV Sneak Peek

If you’ve been looking forward to an electrified Ram, the wait is almost over! Ram recently unveiled their first all-electric truck, the Ram 1500 REV. All-New, All-Electric

Ram created the 1500 REV to offer Ram drivers more powertrain options as the brand begins its shift toward electrification, and we think that it’s a great introduction. If you’re concerned an electric motor can’t deliver the necessary power, speed, and torque, think again. The new 1500 REV comes with two electric options – the standard 168 kWh or the souped-up 229 kWh – and each are made to impress. The standard battery pick provides a 350-mile range, while the 229 kWh battery pack achieves a whopping 500-mile range, a drive range that other vehicles have yet to match. Both include fast-charge capability of 150 miles in just 10 minutes.

Its battery pack does more than just power the truck. With vehicle-to-home, vehicle-to-vehicle, and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging, the REV can charge other EVs in a bind, power your camping trip, or help you run your jobsite with simplicity. Two onboard power panels provide different levels of power depending on your needs. Built on the STLA Frame, the new REV features a body-on-frame construction that seamlessly incorporates the battery for more efficient performance.

Speaking of performance, the REV can accomplish just as much as your current Ram 1500. Tow up to 14,000 lbs, haul up to 2,700, and do it all with zero emissions. It includes a “frunk” (front trunk) with 15 cubic feet of storage along with the RamBox lockable bed complete with 115V outlet.

Comfort and Convenience

Modern style and amenities can be found throughout the REV’s interior, including premium materials and high-tech features. There’s a redesigned starter button, push-button trailer steering knob, digital rearview mirror, and plenty more to make your drive more convenient. Then there’s the abundance of displays, including a 14.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen and 10.25-inch passenger screen, that keep everyone connected and entertained on the go. The screens give access to your charge levels, drive history, and range impact that analyzes your driving and offers feedback to increase range.

The 1500 REV is available in five trims: Tradesman, Big Horn/ Lone Star, Laramie, Limited, and the all-new Tungsten. Each includes standard and available features. New designs give a luxurious feel without giving up the spirit of Ram, like a suede-wrapped headliner, 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system, and quilted leather seating.
