Dodge Earns High Honors at TAWA Awards
Recent Awards for Dodge’s 2023 Lineup
Even though we are a car dealership and we stand by the vehicles we sell, we would never expect anyone to simply take our word for how great they are. We hope we’ve earned your trust, but if not, there are plenty of ways to verify our enthusiasm. One way is by taking a look at vehicle awards.
In the case of the Dodge brand, this is particularly true, as the latest lineup has come up big in recent awards at the Texas Automotive Writers Association (TAWA) Auto Roundup. Now considering we serve drivers in and around the Seattle area, we can’t claim to know all that much about Texas. But we do believe Texans know what they’re talking about when it comes to driving. After all, driving from Houston on the east side of the state to El Paso on the west side can take 10 hours or more. So, it takes a lot of driving to cover all that land.
2023 Dodge TAWA Awards
As mentioned, Dodge came up big at the recent TAWA Awards. Let’s start by focusing on the 2023 Dodge Hornet.
The Hornet is the latest addition to the Dodge lineup, starting at an MSRP of $29,995 for 2023. Even though it’s in its first year, the Hornet took home the Crossover Utility Vehicle of Texas title award. But that’s not all. The all-new model also received awards for the categories of Best Value, Best New Interior and Best New Feature, the latter of which is thanks to the PowerShot feature that injects an additional 30 horsepower when needed for the R/T trim level. Needless to say, if you’re in the market for a new CUV, the Hornet is not one you’ll want to pass up.

Those are lots of awards, but we’re not done yet. The Dodge Challenger SRT Black Ghost also got involved with the celebrations by earning the title of Performance Vehicle of Texas. This particular model was one of Dodge’s Last Call special edition models for the Challenger.
2023 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Award
Of course, Dodge isn’t the only brand we sell. That is why we must also mention the Chrysler Pacifica, specifically the plug-in hybrid version, which claimed the top spot in the minivan category. The Pacifica has taken home this honor seven years in a row, and if we’re being honest, there probably isn’t any reason any longer to consider any other minivan apart from the Chrysler Pacifica.
Now that you’ve read about these models and heard of their award-winning qualities, it’s time to experience them for yourself. If you’re interested in doing so, we can set you up with a test drive here at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Kirkland.
