What to Know About Jeep’s New Lift Kit for the Wrangler and Gladiator?

Jeep models come out of the factory immediately containing the offroad DNA that has made the Jeep brand famous. No matter what adventure you have planned, there is a Jeep that can take you there.

That said, a common pastime for Jeep enthusiasts is to modify their rides. One way this is often done is through lift kits, giving the Jeep model even more offroad capability than before. To support those who live this kind of uniquely Jeep lifestyle, the brand is helping out with a new lift kit designed for the Wrangler and Gladiator.

The kit comes from Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar, equipping vehicles with a 2-inch lift. It also comes with specially tuned Bilstein 46mm monotube shocks with remote reservoirs.

These shocks deliver consistent performance across any terrain. They also contain deflective-disc valves that react to changes in the surface you’re driving on, helping you stay in control despite the terrain’s efforts to take you off course.

The shocks also contain remote reservoirs that allow for more oil to be held. This improves heat dissipation. A swivel banjo fitting allows the flex hose to rotate a full 360 degrees and protects the oil reservoirs from contact.

Wrangler and Gladiator owners don’t need to do any additional drilling to install this lift kit. It is designed to be a bolt-on addition using mounting locations already fitted on the vehicle, as long as you have a vehicle from the 2020 model year or newer. Once ordered, your lift kit will come with four springs, four Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, front lower control arms, front and rear stabilizer links, front and rear bump stops, assorted fasteners and, of course, the Jeep Performance Parts badge.
