What to Know About the 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX Lunar Editions

If you look outside your window right now and pay attention to the color of the cars you see driving past, you’ll likely see a lot of white and a lot of black. Once in a while, something more colorful might get thrown in the mix, but it rarely stands out. What if there was a pickup truck that not only stood out in terms of its overall design but also the paint job it was wearing as well?

Now, there is such a truck. There are two trucks, in fact, as both the 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX  now showcase Lunar Editions. These models have expanded the color palette of each truck to include a new paint hue known as Ceramic Gray. 

Lunar Edition Features and Specs

Of course, we’re not here just to talk about a single paint color. The Lunar Edition models have more to offer than just good looks (even if they do look really good). So, let’s dive into some of the specs and features.

Of course, the Ram 1500 Rebel doesn’t require any introduction. Its offroading capability is well known by just about any truck driver across the United States. But, if you do happen to be in the dark (side of the moon) about it, here are a few things to be aware of. Under the hood, the Rebel features a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that provides tremendous power for just about any trail or terrain you encounter. Inside, you’ll be able to enjoy a large 12-inch touch screen, heated seats and a heated steering wheel.

As for the TRX Lunar Edition, the model is another performance truck that buyers can choose from, offering additional personalization. It expands upon the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group with its Ceramic Gray exterior color and graphics that include a TR hood and bed graphic. Other notable features on the exterior include a dual pane panoramic sunroof, a bed step and LED cab-mounted brake lights. It is powered by its own HEMI V8, this one supercharged and capable of delivering up to 702 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque.

Inside, the TRX Lunar Edition features unique styling. This comes in the form of Surf Blue accent stitching, TRX logos stitched into the seat backs and carbon fiber accents.
